The ''Norfolk'' was a 537-ton merchant ship built at Littlehampton, England in 1814. She made four voyages transporting convicts from England to Australia, one voyage from Ireland to Australia and one from Madras/Mauritius to Australia. ==Career== On her first convict voyage, under the command of Alexander Greig and surgeon William Hamilton, she departed Portsmouth on the 17 April 1825, with 180 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 18 August 1825. There were two convict deaths en route. The second convict voyage, under the command of Alexander Greig and surgeon J. Dickson, she departed Spithead on 22 May 1820 with 200 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 27 August 1829 and had no convict deaths en route. The third convict voyage, under the command of William Henniker and surgeon William Clifford, she departed Cork, Ireland on 15 October 1831 with 199 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 9 February 1832 and had four convict deaths en route. She made a fourth convict voyage after departing Madras on 24 July 1832, and stopping at Mauritius leaving on 31 October with 15 military prisoners, via Hobart on 19 December arriving in Sydney on 30 December 1832. On her fifth convict voyage, under the command of John Gatenby and surgeon Arthur Savage, she departed Sheerness on the 14 May 1835, with 280 male convicts. She arrived in Hobart Town on 28 August 1835 and had no convict deaths en route. On her sixth convict voyage under the command of John Gatenby and surgeon John Inches, she departed Portsmouth on 30 October 1836 with 280 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 12 February 1837 and had two convict deaths en route.
